How does PathCare work?
Our primary function is to assist the treating doctor in making decisions on the medical management of the patient by providing quality information derived from the analyses of specimens, and specialist interpretation of the results.
How do I get my PathCare blood test results?
PathCare Vermaak will not divulge your test results to any third party without your written permission. The test results and pathologist’s report belongs to the patient and you are entitled to a copy of this report. If you wish to obtain a copy of your files, it is preferable to request one from your referring doctor.
Does PathCare do blood tests?
The most commonly collected specimen at our reception sites are blood, urine and sputum.
How long does it take to get PathCare results?
Results are generally available within 24-48 hours following arrival at the testing laboratory.
