Cape Town has a silly (IMO) rule that on Sundays you cant buy alcohol in a shop(restaurants/bars still sell on Sundays) . Like Lamlee said wine is available in most supermarkets, but spirits and beer need to be purchased from a “bottle store” – our version of an off-license.
